This is a series of feminist essays on pop culture, current affairs, and politics. Roxane Gay’s unapologetic voice is not only perfect in pointing out uncomfortable truths; it is so strong and darkly funny as to be immediately relatable.  Her vision of feminism -determined and passionate, but also personal and flawed- certainly helped me be more forgiving of my own and others’. I wish I had written this book. Seriously, just look at the title- so much going on in two little words.
